Looking to Volunteer?Football Volunteering - A Five Point Plan
It is widely recognised that volunteers are the backbone of football in Scotland.
Each week thousands of Scottish people give freely of their time to support grassroots football throughout the Community.
These individuals are involved in a wide range of activities, including coaching, running clubs and fundraising. Quite simply, without volunteers, football in Scotland would not survive.
The Scottish FA (SFA), under the auspices of the Youth Action Plan, have implemented a five-point Strategy to address the recruitment, retention and recognition of volunteers.
If you wish to volunteer in football or want to find out more about opportunities in the South West Region please contact Richard Wilson, SFA Regional Manager.
If you wish to search for voluneer opportunities in the region, go to the Volunteer Scotland website www.volunteerscotland.org.uk.
