Football Best Practice
This section provides information and resources for coaches and parents on the best way to allow young children to develop and enjoy our national game.
In general, young football players require a certain amount of uninterrupted play. This allows them to experience football first hand. They should be allowed the opportunity to experiment, and with that, succeed and fail.
When working with children it is also important to apply best practice in the light of current sports coaching and sports science research.
